The books also include full-page, full-color photographs, maps, itineraries for a weekend or several days, tips for sustainable travel and minimizing one's footprint, details about lesser-known spots to visit, information about annual festivals, and historical and cultural aspects. One surprising section has information about what the typical media coverage entails. Another great series feature is the attention to top picks for things to do and see and places to stay and eat. There are also basic tips, such as entry requirements for each country and essential language phrases.
